Laurence is one of the leading creators of new British musical theatre. Laurence's dramatic new musical MIDNIGHT with Timothy Knapman has recently been performed in Korea following a workshop performance with a West End cast at the St. James’ Theatre, London in 2015. His work with Irvine Welsh and Don de Grazia on the musical CREATIVES was seen earlier this year in Chicago and will be playing at the Pleasance at the Edinburgh Festival with an original score by Laurence.
Laurence in collaboration with Timothy Knapman was commissioned by Made in Corby in association with Perfect Pitch to write a new family musical entitled DANNY HERO, which was produced with a young cast at The Core in Corby to great success in October 2016.
Laurence’s original new musical THROUGH THE DOOR (book by Judy Freed) received a world premiere production in Seoul, Korea in 2015.
